A beautiful and unusual set of 5 vintage pictorial buttons featuring individually carved scenic designs. Each button has a different scene, including animals, village life, landscape details, and figures.

These have a warm cream/tan center with darker carved detailing and a dark outer edge. The side profile shows natural-looking grain, but the exact material has not been professionally identified. They may be bone, tagua/vegetable ivory, or another vintage natural-style material.

Each button has two sewing holes through the center.
